My husband, Gordon, gets together with friends, once every few months, for Dim Sum in Chinatown, NY. Gordon is the type of person that brings things like flowers and surprises home without my asking. Just because. This one Sunday, over 20 years ago, he brought me an almond cookie. I remember eating it and smelling it as I tasted it. I decided, in that moment, to make a scent out of the delicious notes-flavors in my cookie. I wanted it to convey that feeling of warmth when you know you are loved.
